The students of Socrates-Demosthenes School participated in the doxology at Saint-Georges Cathedral on Sunday, October 30.
The service was presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Sotirios and Bishop Iakovos.
The doxology was followed by a cocktail where Bishop Iakovos, Her Excellency Katerina Varvarigou Consul General of Greece in Montreal and HCGM President Dr. George Tsoukas spoke about the importance of OXI and what the national holiday means for the Greek community.
