As part of a multi-material project (Science and technology and art), our students produced animations (or stop motions).

Volume animation is an animation technique used with real objects, endowed with volume. While the objects are stationary, this technique creates the illusion that they are endowed with natural movement.

For the project, the students of the Spartan class were led to create a short story using PowerPoint software.

Knowing that a standard animation film has 24 frames per second, some of our students produced up to 1 minute of continuous animation.

Note that for this first project, the students animated characters in two dimensions only.

Well done dear Spartans!
