Did you know that Socrates-Demosthenes School of the Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal has recently obtained a license from the Ministry of Education(MESSR) to provide educational services in French secondary level?
Indeed, from the academic year 2016-2017, there will be teaching for secondary one and two classes at II, 5757 Wilderton Avenue in Montreal. Your teens may begin or continue their secondary education in a safe environment,benefiting from a high quality of teaching and services.
The curriculum of the high school will offer instruction in French that meets the highest standards of Quebec. In addition, the students will be required to follow an enriched English program.
Future students can choose from three exciting specialty programs: they have the opportunity to continue and deepen their learning of the Greek language and culture (advanced level), to learn the Greek language and culture (beginner level -intermediate) or develop their athletic skills in our new multi-sport program “Athlete Development.”
In addition, a bus service will be offered to our high school students in the area of Socrates II. If the numbers warrant it, we will add collection points in Laval and West Island. Our fees are very competitive and our proven education system is exceptional.
We hope you will come in large numbers to the open door days of Socrates II to be held between November 2nd and 7th at the following times;
Monday to Wednesday: 9 am to 11 am
Wednesday night: 6 pm to 8 pm
Saturday morning: 10 am to noon
