HCGM delegation to the Armenian independence parade
Last Sunday, the Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal (CHGM) took part in the Armenian Independence Day Parade in Montreal with a delegation of students from the Socrates-Demosthenes School, their parents and the Scout troop Pavlidis.
Last Sunday, the Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal (CHGM) took part in the Armenian Independence Day Parade in Montreal with a delegation of students from the Socrates-Demosthenes School, their parents and the Scout troop Pavlidis.
The weather was mild, despite the clouds. Our Scout and Drum troupes proudly marched through the streets of Ahuntsic, happily representing the Hellenic community around Armenian institutions, their churches and schools.
We thank our parents for their hard work. We congratulate our students for their impeccable participation and, of course, we express our admiration for the instructors of our drumming troupe, Alex Frangakakis and Odysseas Falagaras as well as newcomers Konstantina Vanikiotis and Maria Andreou.
