Last Saturday’s Valentine Ball, organized by AHEPA, was a huge success. A beautiful venue in the Palace Convention Centre attracted over 200 lovers and friends that ate, drank and danced the night away. As promised, the eleven-piece band, the “Showmen”, were terrific: they brought the house down.
The AHEPA Family of Montreal worked extremely hard to assure a successful outcome and that everyone had a wonderful time. Most importantly, 38,000$ in proceeds were raised and will be handed over to École Socrates-Démosthène of the Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal, to help upgrade our School’s technology equipment. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported this event. We are deeply grateful for our parents’ generous participation, and also that of numerous staff members, members of the Board of Directors, and their respective families. And, last but not least, we owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the AHEPA family and, in particular its President, Mr. Jimmy Dionisopoulos and the co-chair Ball organisers, Mrs Effie Sapuridis and Mr Frank Antoniou.
